Team Bloom

Having met at their local Dance School over 15 years ago, Bloom Co-Founders Stacey and Natalie trained together, in various styles, from an early age. Also successfully competing together, both as a team and a duo.

They were both asked to become teaching assistants at the age of 16, with Stacey actually taking over from Natalie when she left for University at 18.

Natalie went on to study in York, gaining a Degree in Dance and Education, whilst Stacey remained in Loughborough and continued to teach, later gaining her qualifications in Ballet Teaching, after training in London.

As we all know, the pandemic hit in 2020 and affected life for most. Living in such restricted circumstances, took a toll on all of us, but with change comes opportunity, and during a little catch up in the back garden, Bloom was born!

Combining fitness, fun and friendship, Bloom can provide an all-inclusive dance experience for everyone to enjoy!

Stacey McGrath

Stacey took her first dance class at 4 years old and hasn’t stopped since!

She has trained and passed examinations in various styles including: Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz, as well as competing in various competitions across the UK for 15 years.

After assisting in lessons as a teenager, she decided to further her love for teaching and train with the Royal Academy of Dance, to gain her qualifications in Ballet Teaching.

Now with 10 years of teaching experience under her belt, she has coached many children, of all ages, for both examinations and competitions.

Seeing first hand the benefits that Dance has had on her student’s physical and mental wellbeing, as well as her own, she is so passionate about what Bloom has to offer. She is excited to now have the opportunity to help everyone experience dance, no matter your age or capability, and hopes to encourage as many people as possible to feel comfortable and confident in their own bodies and mind.

Natalie Allen

Natalie has many years experience in the dance industry.

She has worked with different communities and groups, of all ages, around the country helping individuals improve their confidence, relationships and mental health.

Natalie has a BA honours degree in ‘Dance and Education’ and qualifications with the R.A.D and I.S.T.D up to an Advanced Level.

By working within various communities, rather than a traditional Dance School, she was able to adapt and develop her teaching skills much further. A trait that has seen her successfully deliver lessons to a variety of ages and abilities, enabling anyone to join in and enjoy what dance has to offer.

Natalie’s belief is that ‘Everyone can dance!’ people are just not always given the same opportunity. She is so excited to bring Bloom to life, and allow everyone that wants the chance to begin their journey, build their confidence, and blossom through dance.
